The home is located in a residential Norfolk neighborhood with a local, lived-in feel. It’s a practical location for guests who want to be close to the city without staying directly downtown. I personally live on the same street, so I’m very familiar with the area and nearby if anything is needed during your stay. My kids also play outside on this street, which is one of the reasons I feel comfortable hosting guests here. The location is convenient to ODU, Norfolk State, Sentara Norfolk General, CHKD, Sentara Leigh, Downtown Norfolk, Naval Station Norfolk, the airport, restaurants, shopping, and major highways. Popular local attractions like the Virginia Zoo, Chrysler Museum, Waterside District, Nauticus/Battleship Wisconsin, Norfolk Botanical Garden, and Ocean View Beach are also within a short drive. Like any city neighborhood, I recommend guests use normal common sense: lock doors, secure vehicles, and keep personal belongings put away.
